StartingBlocks is a cloud hosted solution providing Ed-Fi as a service. Using Amazon Web Services' (AWS) technologies, EA hosts the Ed-Fi API and ODS for partners to integrate their source data systems into one location. By consolidating separate data systems into a single location, the process of downstream analytics and reporting will shift its focus from spending significant time on data cleaning, to deriving insights and findings from the data.

StartingBlocks helps to abstract away the layer of hosting infrastructure for this data collection for district and state agencies so that these institutions can put more time and attention towards operational needs. Our team also brings an amount of expertise in the area of vendor interactions for Ed-Fi integrations and so also act as communication conduits between education agencies and their integrating vendors.
